Join a great team at one of the most recognized companies in the world! Our client, a global pharmaceutical and chemical company with over 100,000 employees worldwide and optimal working conditions, is looking for a Laboratory Technician to work in their Bioassays & CGT Analytics Department at their facilities in Elberfeld, Germany, under an 18-month fixed-term leasing contract (AN). The desired start date is 01 June 2025. The contract runs until the end of November 2026.

Responsibilities:

1. Development, optimization, standardization, and routine execution of flow cytometry-based and functional cell-based assays.
2. Planning, documentation, and evaluation of experiments.
3. Handling and maintenance of complex automation flow cytometry and microscopy devices.
4. Writing SOPs and other documents.
5. Supporting internal and external customers/functions.
6. Contributing to the development of biologics and cell therapies.

Qualifications:

1. Scientific technical training (e.g., BTA, Bachelor's, Master's degree, PhD) in cell biology or related life sciences.
2. Theoretical and practical knowledge in cellular biology is essential.
3. Extensive practical experience with advanced cell culture techniques and flow cytometry.
4. Experience with fluorescence microscopy and automated setups is advantageous.
5. At least 12 years of working experience in implementing and evaluating flow cytometry assays to characterize cell therapy products.
6. Strong reliability and sense of responsibility.
7. Excellent communication skills and a strong analytical mindset.
8. Enjoy working in a fast-evolving, challenging environment.
9. Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and foster open dialogue and teamwork.
10. Good knowledge of German and/or English.

Additional Information:

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 06:30 and 15:30 (7.5 hours/day).
• 30 paid vacation days per year (pro-rata).
• Contact with a renowned global pharmaceutical company, with the option of permanent placement at the end of the contract.
