Channel Sales Account Manager

PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individuals to join our sales organization in Germany. Our current customer base includes a growing number of companies in a range of industries. We are looking for motivated sales professionals to work in these market segments which would include any manufacturer/end users looking to embrace Industry 4.0.

Many of the world’s largest manufacturing companies are entering this fast-paced tech space to create new revenue streams and offer greater visibility to how their specific products “live” in the real world. The sales team will require the skillset to translate the PTC value proposition into real-world business value.

Your impact:

1. Starting from a selected list of existing and prospect accounts, you will propose and sell the award-winning PTC portfolio technologies working closely together with Channel Sales Representatives to develop this list of accounts.
2. Understanding and addressing the customer’s challenges approaching digital initiatives.

Day-To-Day:

1. Performing sales calls at customer site to find new opportunities.
2. Build high level executive/SVP relationship sales long term partnership.
3. Dealing with Partner Ecosystem (Resellers and System Integrators).
4. Dealing with Internal Ecosystem (Matrix Organization – Channel, Sales Product Specialist, Technical community, and Customer Success Organization).
5. Significantly extend the existing strategic relationship, by expanding current engagements as well as winning new business divisions.
6. Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating and closing the deal.
7. Competent in the ability to forecast and assess revenue opportunities.
8. Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients.

1. Excellent sales acumen and a disciplined hunter attitude.
2. Strong resiliency with self-motivation and integrity.
3. Proven ability to plan and execute effectively to meet business objectives.
4. Excellent written & oral communication & listening skills in English and German.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
2. Proven track record in Software Sales, preferably with channel sales affinity.
