Senior Project Management Specialist - Infotainment Systems (m/f/d), Wolfsburg

At CARIAD, we're expanding Volkswagen Group's software expertise, uniting over 6,500 global experts to develop a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, electronic architecture, and automotive cloud connectivity. Our team develops vehicle functions such as driver assistance, infotainment platforms, power electronics, charging tech, and digital services, with our software already in Volkswagen ID. models and soon in Audi and Porsche vehicles.

Team Overview

We develop connected cockpit systems for Volkswagen Group's MEB & MQB platforms, managing development, supplier coordination, software integration, change request management, and testing. We prioritize customer satisfaction and seek motivated, reliable, and innovative colleagues to join us.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers to ensure timely software/hardware releases aligned with project schedules
• Guide internal and external teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Supervise integration and validation teams for connected infotainment systems
• Ensure end-to-end availability according to the feature release plan, including headunit, connectivity, backend, and services
• Collaborate with architecture and solution management teams
• Manage resources, timelines, budgets, and report KPIs within an agile environment

Candidate Profile

• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent qualification
• Extensive experience in software development or software-defined products
• Minimum 8 years in agile management within automotive engineering or related fields
• Strong intercultural skills and stakeholder management
• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver quality
• Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
