Job Opportunity: Lead Engineer Electrical Instrumentation and Control (EI&C)/Project Manager EI&C (m/w/d)

Locations: Dresden, Penzberg, Bayern, Burghausen, Bayern, Hattersheim, Hessen, Rheinbach, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Neu-Ulm, Bayern, Berlin, Hamburg, Braunschweig, Niedersachsen

Position Details: Vollzeit | 40 h / Woche

We are expanding our team in the Electrical Instrumentation and Control (EI&C) sector! If you are an engineer or technician with passion and the right level of engagement, we are looking for you!

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in exciting customer projects within cross-disciplinary teams
2. Create concepts, plan, specify, and tender components for the entire EI&C area
3. Estimate costs and support bids
4. Lead or co-lead projects
5. Design energy distribution concepts (MV and LV levels), switchgear, field instrumentation, automation technology, process control systems, industrial network and fieldbus technology
6. Act as interface between clients, subcontractors, and VTU process teams
7. Coordinate trades and subcontractors
8. Lead or oversee commissioning and acceptance of services
9. Contribute to risk analyses
10. Develop and demonstrate functional safety (SIL - Safety Integrity Level) or perform intrinsic safety calculations

Qualifications:

1. A solid technical education as an engineer (Diploma, Master, or Bachelor) or technician/master in electrical, measurement, control, or automation engineering with at least 8 years of professional experience
2. Several years of experience in plant planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical, chemical, oil, and gas industries
3. Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and guidelines
4. Experience in two of the following project phases: planning, procurement, realization, testing, commissioning, documentation
5. Excellent communication skills in German and English
6. Teamwork and organizational skills
