Jobbeschreibung

Analyst, Debt Advisory Investment Banking

The Frankfurt Debt Advisory team offers comprehensive debt advisory services to a global client base, with a particular focus on European assets. We are seeking an Analyst with a keen interest in debt advisory and debt products to join our dynamic team in Frankfurt.

At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 34 markets and with 55 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

As a member of the debt advisory team, which is part of the broader M&A team within Macquarie Capital, you will collaborate with a market leading senior team, working on standalone debt advisory mandates and collaborating with the M&A team to execute lender education processes for sell-side processes and arrange financings for buy-side mandates across digital infrastructure (fibre and data centers) and energy transition (generation, storage, distribution and transmission grids for both fuels and electricity). You will support them in all marketing and transaction execution activities, with a strong focus on financial analysis, including preparing financial models and pitch books for marketing and transaction execution purposes. The team has a very high deal flow, which will provide you with the opportunity to gain live experience from day one, get access to senior management and decision makers, and build a network of bankers, lawyers, and a diverse range of other advisers.

Please note that while Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require five days a week in our office location.

What you offer
  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in finance or a related subject
  • Professional experience from relevant internships and/or just started permanent employment, with an ability to demonstrate your experience and be regarded as an outstanding performer amongst your peers
  • Thorough grasp of financial concepts, valuation and lending economics, with a good interest in financial modelling
  • Experienced in using MS Office, in particular advanced Excel skills
  • You must be an excellent communicator in both German and English, and possess German language skills of native level equivalent in oral and in writing.

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us. If you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie, we encourage you to apply.

Our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

We are committed to providing a working environment that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply regardless of their identity, including age, disability, neurodiversity, gender (including gender identity or expression), sexual orientation, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy, parental status, race (including ethnic or national origin), religion or belief, or socio-economic background. We welcome further discussions on how you can feel included and belong at Macquarie as you progress through our recruitment process.
