The Senior Project Manager SATX is a key role within the SATX pillar of the Services Accounting & Tax (SAT) department. This role is responsible for co-driving strategic transformation initiatives, including the implementation of process governance, ERP rollouts (e.g., S4 / HANA), and future global and regional projects. The individual will ensure projects are executed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with process governance principles. This position is pivotal in establishing SATX as a global process excellence hub.

Your role

1. Co-lead and manage end-to-end strategic transformation projects within the department (e.g., process governance, integrations, mass rollouts, regional process standardizations).
2. Ensure project delivery according to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards, handling scope adjustments as needed.
3. Act as an interface across various departments and stakeholders, including local affiliates and IT partners.
4. Drive alignment with ZEISS-wide governance frameworks and process excellence standards.
5. Identify and manage project risks, ensuring critical issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
6. Establish and track KPIs, ensuring project performance is data-driven and communicated to senior stakeholders.
7. Assist in formulating best practices for global finance transformation.

Your profile

1. Experience in financial transformations, process governance, or shared services.
2. Proven track record of leading extensive projects within global environments.
3. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is an asset.
4. Deep understanding of SAP ERP systems, preferably S/4HANA.
5. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and issue resolution skills.
6. Fluent in English; German is desirable.
