Transdev Group is looking for a Junior Innovation Manager based in Berlin, Germany. Since 1998, Transdev in Germany has been the leading private rail passenger operator, helping to revitalize regions by deploying passenger-oriented services. We operate 20 Operation & Maintenance contracts, totaling 55 million train km for 118 million passengers annually. Our fleet comprises 472 trainsets.

Responsibilities

Transdev Germany aims to enhance its innovative capabilities and those of the global Transdev Group by developing new services. We seek an inspiring Junior Manager Innovation to support this goal. The main tasks include:

• Monitoring the market for technological developments
• Assessing the potential implementation of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Analyzing upcoming innovations for risks or opportunities to Transdev's business models
• Supporting the implementation of Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects
• Fostering an innovative culture within the organization
• Connecting with start-ups, universities, and other innovation platforms
• Designing business plans for innovative services

Required Education and Experience

• University degree or relevant work experience in innovation (e.g., start-ups, large companies, or as a founder)
• An IT background is advantageous

• Monitoring and analyzing technological market trends relevant to transportation
• Evaluating the feasibility and impact of new technologies like AI
• Assessing risks and opportunities of innovations for business models
