Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services creates digital solutions of the future that help B2B customers to increase their process quality and efficiency, improve customer experiences, act more sustainably or develop new business models. It is based on real-time data from measuring points and signals inside and outside of Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide. This data is used to generate added value for products and processes in companies from a wide range of industries. The secure and responsible handling of data is hereby the basis for the acceptance of services around connected driving. The Stuttgart-based company has about 75 employees working on the development, operation and sales of digital data-based products.

Our Engineering & Technology Team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (f/m/d) on a full-time basis as soon as possible.

Engineering & Technology team:

• We are an experienced, passionate & self-organized team being in charge to develop & operate data driven award-winning digital products and innovative IoT services with cloud native microservices for business customers of Mercedes Benz
• We are working agile, delivering new features to our customers with every sprint using our automated CI/CD pipeline

These exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• Assure high availability of our digital products in front of our customers
• Run & monitor our digital products in the cloud
• Maintain and enhance our CI/CD pipeline
• Shape and enhance our developer platform which is used to develop our digital products
• Analyze & solve problems arising in our development and production environments in a blameless culture
• Contribute to reviews and share your knowledge with the team

The position is filled as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

Your profile:

• You are breathing an agile, cloud native and DevOps mindset
• You have a good IT Security & cryptography understanding
• You know how to run solutions 24/7
• You love automation & Infrastructure as Code
• You are familiar with microservice and event driven architectures as well as distributed systems
• You are familiar with the Azure cloud and Azure services such as AKS, ADX, API Management, Event Hubs, Log Analytics & Azure DevOps
• You are familiar with SQL and NoSQL Databases
• You know how to use & tweak tools like Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus and Datadog
• You have experience in Gitops and running a CI/CD pipeline
• You also like to touch code of our digital products
• You are eager to learn new methods and technologies
• You are fluent in English; German is a plus.
