Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to the Mechanical Design team.

We’ll look for you to:

  • Perform and maintain Space Allocation in accordance with progressive maturity rules considering all constraints.
  • Mature design with suppliers.
  • Check compliance of supplier proposals with specifications.
  • Perform 3D detailed design.
  • Perform 2D detailed design considering internal rules of data structuration.
  • Perform assembly drawings and generate Bill of Material.
  • Plan and pilot mechanical integration activities and related deliverables on project.
  • Conduct stack up calculations for the scope.
  • Support other Functions (incl Sourcing, Industrialization and Manufacturing teams) during Development and Production ramp-up.

All About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Graduated from Mechanical Engineering school with a Master of Science degree.
  • English operational in reading/writing and technical meetings.
  • German is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills including with third parties.
  • Time management and reporting skills.
  • Sense of urgency / Priority.
  • Customer & Product Focus.
  • Structured and organised with a hands-on approach.

Things You’ll Enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Experience a dynamic work environment with a permanent position at a leading company for green mobility.
  • Benefit from excellent training opportunities through our award-winning Alstom University and participate in the company's innovation culture through idea management programmes.
  • Thrive in a modern and collaborative workplace featuring mentor and buddy programs, diversity & inclusion initiatives, CSR activities, and engaging employee events.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
