Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
Under limited supervision, performs aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Tasks may be segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to standardized technical supply management operations. Participates in inventory audits, researches discrepancies, and may assist with Document Control functions. Ensures supplies are properly identified, handled, stored, and shipped. May act as chief inspector and conduct limited inspector training. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, and manuals. May operate forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, or other equipment to transport supplies. Performs similar activities as assigned.
Requires 4 years of related experience, preferably in a military operation. Some positions may require HazMat certification for storage, handling, distributing, and shipping such materials. Minimum requirements specified by client/contract will prevail, if different.
