Job Description:

We are seeking a Design Director for the areas of Future Work and Interior Design.

In the context of Future Work, we offer services ranging from workplace consulting to complete space design. Together with our clients, we explore the central question: How do we want to work in the future?

Responsibilities of Design Directors at SCHMIDHUBER include:

• Thinking creatively and innovatively.
• Surprising and convincing with visionary ideas.
• Working independently through the entire design process, from conception to supervision.
• Being experts in interior architecture, spatial design, interior finishing, furnishings, and integrating technical systems.
• Creating inventory and needs analyses, developing and presenting concepts, and leading projects through to implementation.
• Proficient use of 3D design software and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Representing our company responsibly in planning and communication processes, both internally and externally.
• Mentoring and training young talents.
• Fostering a collaborative relationship with clients and team members.

Qualifications for Interior Design include:

• Passion for current trends, innovations, branding, and communication.
• Sense for space, appealing design, functionality, materials, and furniture.
• Technical understanding of interior construction, details, and their interrelationships.
• Broad knowledge of various materials and manufacturers.
• Completed studies in interior architecture or proven experience in related fields.
• 4-5 years of professional experience focusing on design/concept development in showrooms, retail, offices, retail construction, or similar areas.
• Ability to transform outstanding ideas and high-quality standards into memorable spatial experiences.
• Strong identification with our projects and themes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
