About the team
The chapter Software Development represents all experts who deliver essential software development and engineering capabilities to all our product teams. These experts are organized together to keep E.ON’s code base modern, secure, and excellent.
Meaningful & challenging - Your tasks
- Developing future energy software to be run on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Automation of supporting infrastructure, like account provisioning, entitlement management etc. – Infra as Code
- Automating code deployment CI/CD, with the necessary stages like code scanning, security
- Working with data models on SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, creating CDS views
- Manage integration with backed SAP systems (S/4)
- Support with integration to observability tools
Authentic & ambitious - Your profile
- Basic experience with at least one or more of the following programming languages – Java/Node.js/ABAP
- Basic understanding of SAP’s application programming models CAP & RAP
- Basic knowledge of core BTP services, and eagerness to familiarize yourself with the latest SAP technologies
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and development productivity topics
- Hands-on experience with event messaging and working with Steampunk is an advantage
- You love to learn and to make things happen, that’s your passion
