Information Security Specialist (m/f/d)

Alongside Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, Hyundai MOBIS is one of the largest companies within the Hyundai group. MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. handles research and development of high-tech products for passenger cars and manages the entire aftersales business of genuine parts and accessories for Hyundai and Kia in Europe.

Your profile

• Degree in IT or Information Security / 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge in system administration, network security, network management, or related fields
• Understanding of current security risks and protocols
• Ability to handle the impact of security breaches and cyber-attacks, with a willingness to work on-call in emergencies
• Capability to create and uphold information security policies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under supervision and take independent initiative when needed
• Fluent in German and English, Korean language skills are advantageous
• Certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate information security systems
• Establish, revise, and distribute information security policies
• Collaborate with the DPO to ensure GDPR compliance
• Inspect and improve information security management systems
• Train employees to raise awareness of information protection
• Analyze security systems and recommend improvements
• Prepare reports and action plans for security breaches
• Conduct tests and ethical hacking of security architecture
• Monitor networks for abnormalities and provide early warnings
• Upgrade systems to stay ahead in security measures
• Communicate system status and inform users of changes or downtime
• Maintain current technical knowledge through continuing education
• Implement system updates and develop code fixes
• Research and recommend security enhancements to management
