The Opportunity

We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Business Development Manager in Germany.

  1. Proactively interact with customers and secure new business in air freight, ocean freight, sea-air freight, truck and rail freight, along with customs brokerage services;
  2. Increase sales and volumes to achieve economies of scale and greater service reliability;
  3. Work independently with the Toll network to increase volumes on key trade lanes and verticals in line with the sales strategy;
  4. Ensure all actions align with Toll's Core Values, Policies, and Guidelines;
What You'll Need to Succeed
  1. Completed apprenticeship as a forwarding agent or similar commercial training in Germany;
  2. Completed studies in logistics or economics and/or at least 5 years of professional experience in air freight, sea freight, or sales;
  3. Proficiency in written and spoken German;
  4. Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory;
  5. Good understanding of numbers, analysis, and statistics tools;
  6. Strong IT skills and professional handling of internet media;
  7. Solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote);
  8. Confident in communication and correspondence, with an open and professional approach to interactions with customers, authorities, employees, and colleagues at all levels;
  9. Driving license: Class B (3).
