As an Account Manager for Metal Framing & Pipe Supports (MF&PS), you will serve existing customers and identify new growth opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and support business growth. You will develop strong consultative relationships with key partners, end-users, OEMs, and other stakeholders to ensure our MF&PS products are specified and purchased, meeting sales targets.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the regional MF&PS strategy in Germany and achieving set targets.

This position is based in Germany.

  • As an ambitious sales professional with a hunter mentality, you will drive business growth by leveraging your in-depth knowledge of MF&PS products, ensuring success in your area within Germany.
  • Develop and implement the MF&PS sales strategy aligned with regional and European strategies.
  • Analyze market opportunities to develop strategies that maximize margins and increase market penetration.
  • Seek synergy opportunities across the NBU's, including processes, tools, systems, shared workforces, cross-selling, and upselling.
  • Understand the company's products and services thoroughly to advise others effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with distribution partners to stay connected with local market characteristics.
  • Drive sales excellence and performance across channels.
  • Ensure appropriate pricing policies are in place for each sales channel.
  • Forecast and report on business sales volumes regularly.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services & Training, and other departments to share market insights, pricing issues, and competitive trends.
  • Attend seminars, trade shows, and industry conferences for educational and customer engagement purposes.
  • Use our CRM tool (Salesforce) professionally to log call plans, follow opportunities, and plan accounts.
  • Work as part of a unified team within the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field is preferred.
  • Strong sales personality with strategic vision to drive growth.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry, with in-depth knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning products.
  • Engineering background with strong technical and commercial confidence.
  • Experience in strategic planning, marketing, business development, and market research.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and technical experts.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German, verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook); Salesforce and SAP experience is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% as needed.
