Position: Finance Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

Abbott Transfusion Medicine, Abbott GmbH in Wiesbaden, is seeking a Finance Manager for the EMEA region.

The Opportunity

The Finance Manager will lead all FP&A activities in the EMEA region, including LBE submissions, monthly sales and profitability reporting, and providing commercial support to regional business partners.

This role is responsible for establishing, developing, and implementing processes and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and planning, while providing decision support to Regional Managing Directors and Divisional Vice Presidents.

Activities

• Lead the preparation of financial plans and LBE revisions; analyze monthly results and monitor financial performance
• Ensure high-quality P&L, capital expenditure, and sales forecast data; analyze performance against benchmarks and historical trends; manage customer DSO and DOH
• Evaluate business performance, identify issues and gaps, and provide analysis to support management decisions
• Collaborate with non-finance departments to create action plans for strategy and profitability targets; challenge sales forecasts
• Develop metrics and reports for management review to address performance, costs, and spending drivers
• Provide decision support, including profitability analyses for new products, promotional programs, and major customers
• Support financial audits and ensure compliance with procedures, controls, and policies
• Adhere to the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct in all activities

Minimum Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in finance
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting (local and corporate), analysis, and reporting principles and standards
• Proficiency in Power BI and automation tools
• Experience working with business leaders (MD, DVP, etc.)
• Team player, self-driven, creative, ethical, with strong communication skills
• Postgraduate/MBA or CIMA qualification is a plus
