Leica is launching a new, high-impact team to lead our strategic expansion into the rapidly growing spatial biology segment. We’re seeking top sales and applications talent for a remote sales and customer support role. As Customer Success Manager, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for reagents and Spatial Biology workflows, ensuring customer satisfaction and product optimization. You will also drive sales growth through consultative selling, generating quotes, identifying new opportunities, and managing customer relationships to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of consumables.

This position reports to the Market Development Manager and is part of the commercial team in EMEA, based in Germany, working remotely to cover the region.

The ideal candidate should be located in Southern Germany.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing front-line pre- and post-sales technical support for reagents and workflows, assisting customers with troubleshooting and product optimization.
  • Engaging in consultative selling and upselling of consumables to research and academic institutions, recommending suitable products for Life Science projects.
  • Generating accurate, competitive quotes aligned with customer needs and budgets.
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within the existing installed base.
  • Managing customer relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction, proper stock levels, and timely delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing technical support and training for consumable reagents, with a strong understanding of product applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of reagents, dyes, and immunohistochemistry used in Life Science research.
  • Hands-on experience working in a lab environment within Life Science research.
  • Inside sales experience in the Life Science sector (preferred).

Additional experience in supporting Spatial Biology workflows is a plus.
