Sales Branch Manager

Together with an own sales team, the Sales Branch Manager will be responsible for developing a Book of Business (BOB) within and for the Branch’s geographical reach by implementing company commercial strategies and products with the aim of accelerating growth. He/She will ensure delivery of significant P&L contributions for the Branch by controlling margins within its own BOB.

Responsibilities:
  • Heading and managing the local Sales team
  • Manage Book of Business (BOB) ensuring constant growth in volume, revenue, and margin
  • Ensure continuous growth of the BCO composition, balancing hunting and farming activities
  • Undertake market analysis and competitive research in the local market
  • Liaise with Country Operations to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
  • Assist BOB clients with export/import quotations and negotiations to close opportunities
  • Coordinate with DPW internal network and external partner agents to provide optimal service assistance
  • Utilize CRM system to manage sales pipeline and activity records for incentive schemes
  • Stay updated on local regulations, industry practices, and enhancements
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience leading a team, preferably in a multinational environment
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in Freight Forwarding
  • Strong knowledge of the Freight Forwarding industry
  • Ability to identify, grow, and close business opportunities with support from product and operations
  • Fluent in English and German
