Senior Director Project Management (m / f / d)

Location: Germany / Bayreuth

Area of Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire PMO division within Product Development.
• Integrate GTM Data, Strategy, and Insights to provide actionable intelligence, strategic insights, and comprehensive reporting to support decision-making across all GTM functions.
• Work closely with executive leadership to align GTM strategies with overall business objectives.
• Establish project management processes and interfaces throughout the company for product development, analytics, design, textiles, etc.
• Manage, develop, and plan succession for the team.
• Develop and continuously optimize efficient, transparent, and flexible project management processes in a dynamic growth environment.
• Serve as liaison for the executive board and senior management on all global projects.
• Lead budget reviews, manage deviations, project/team structures, timelines, workflows, and scheduling of development projects.
• Oversee quota setting and capacity planning to ensure alignment with business goals and market realities.
• Act as POC with current and new suppliers and external partners.
• Structure projects into work packages and assign responsibilities within the company.
• Coordinate with design, product management, controlling, suppliers, and external partners.
• Conduct regular project status reviews and analyses, report deviations, and initiate countermeasures.
• Provide strategic insights and forecasts based on internal data and market trends to senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Support series start-up phases on-site in production.

Profile of Qualification:

• Advanced degree or education in technical studies, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in the industrial and consumer sectors, strongly connected to Go-To-Market strategies.
• Proven expertise in project management, engineering, and contractor management.
• Experience leading and developing senior and international teams.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and people development skills.
• Visionary with the ability to inspire and align teams with strategic objectives.
• Excellent networking and collaboration skills.
• Passionate about driving change and innovation.
• Results-driven with a focus on priorities and commercially viable decisions.
• Experience in process improvement, customer-focused services, and project management.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Willingness to travel globally when necessary.
