About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and people-centric HR Lead EU to join our team in Berlin. In this key role, you'll serve as a strategic business partner to employees and senior management across multiple European locations. You'll lead and mentor a dynamic HR team, foster strong employee relations, ensure smooth and compliant HR operations, and contribute to building a high-performance, positive workplace culture. Your Mission

Deliver exceptional HR advisory services to employees across Europe, covering all HR-related and labour law topics

Partner closely with senior managers in Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Italy, and Spain as a trusted HR partner

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team (currently one HR Generalist and one Senior People Operations Specialist)

Support recruitment efforts for key business roles across regions

Oversee payroll processes and ensure seamless HR operations across EU countries

Manage end-to-end contractual processes (new hires, promotions, transfers, offboarding)

Optimize and own onboarding and offboarding journeys to ensure a smooth employee experience

Design, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and procedures

Maintain and evolve the performance management system

Contribute to compensation and benefits strategy and assist with annual salary reviews

Champion a positive work culture aligned with business objectives and employee wellbeing

Your Profile

Bachelor’s and/or Masters Degree in Human Resources or in Psychology or a related field

4+ years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up/scale-up environment

Prior leadership experience or experience supervising a team is highly desirable

Knowledge in German labour law, other European labour laws would be a plus

Strong organizational and time management skills with a hands-on, proactive approach

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills

Fluency in both English and German; proficiency in Russian is a plus

Familiarity with Personio (HRIS) would be a strong advantage
