The Opportunity

This position works out of our regions Passau, München, Ulm, Reutlingen in Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We focus on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We are revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

Your Tasks:

  • Achieving or overachieving sales and market share targets, KPIs as defined, and driving profitable growth in the assigned region (in alignment with Area & National strategy and goals).
  • Leading a team of 8-12 direct reports (Sales Representatives).
  • Ensuring all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Driving profitable growth in the region.
  • Driving revenue growth through volume, account, and expense management, based on market share gain, market, and account analysis.
  • Ensuring target delivery through individual recognition, performance reviews, people management, and rewards.
  • Successful implementation of country product launches.

Your Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate diploma or university degree and 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Pharma or Medical Device industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and diabetes technology.
  • Proven ability to work as an RSM with KOLs in the Healthcare segment.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
  • Experience leading high-performance teams.
  • Ability to measure and analyze KPIs.
  • Engaging personality with strong motivational skills.
