Job Description:

Our production site in Steinfurt is looking for an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) to strengthen our maintenance department.

Glatfelter is an internationally active US company and a leading global supplier of technical materials. At the Steinfurt site, the company has around [number of employees] employees and produces airlaid products on two ultra-modern lines, which are used daily by a large number of people for hygiene and personal care, in the household, in medicine, gastronomy, and other areas of application.

Type of contract:

Initially limited to 1 year

Area of responsibility:

1. Maintenance of systems and machines including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, fire alarm systems, boilers, and compressors
2. Maintenance of individual machine components, especially on maintenance days
3. Building maintenance
4. Continuous monitoring of machine functionality through online warehouse monitoring
5. Implementation of projects
6. Inspection of water treatment

Job requirements:

1. Completed training as an industrial mechanic or comparable technical vocational training
2. Relevant professional experience and technical understanding
3. Ability to communicate and work in a team
