Overview

Bio-Rad is seeking a Sales Specialist (f,m,d) for our Process Chromatography products, to target customers that range from small R&D operations to midsize and large commercial customers across Northern, Central, & Eastern Europe. Ideally you live in in one of the major cities in Germany, e.g. Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich. You will be nurturing leads over the full product lifecycle, creating & building relationships, upscaling customers, and becoming the subject matter expert in resin chromatography. You will be part of a resilient, tenacious team who work closely together in order to fulfil ambitious sales targets.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Develop the territory by effectively planning, forecasting and management of the business in line with the agreed strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain a high level of customer interaction through regular sales meetings, build new relationships.
  • Consult customers in method development, give advice how to use media and optimize separations workflows.
  • Develop and organize customer seminars, workshops, roadshows, represent the company at exhibitions.
  • Arrange post-sales field assistance, providing solutions to applicative problems with support from Field Application Specialists.
  • Travel required up to 60%.

What You Bring:

  • PhD/MS Degree in Chemistry, Bio-Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or comparable.
  • Extensive industry related process chromatography background with at least 5 years of hands-on or selling in this market experience, some years of professional sales experience.
  • In depth knowledge of Chromatography techniques, hands-on experience in pharmaceutical setting (GMP).
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of work in German and in English.
  • Sales driven attitude and flexible to travel within Central Europe if required.
