Jobbeschreibung

Job Description:

BIRKENSTOCK offers you all the advantages of a successful, fast-growing, global company: a dynamic work environment, considerable design freedom, an authentic and open corporate culture, and excellent development opportunities.

The role involves translating ideations and design sketches into 2D patterns and prototypes in the respective sample sizes, utilizing CAD software and physical sampling.

Responsibilities include checking the fit and technical execution of patterns (sample size), creating 2D patterns and tech packs for seamless handover to the Product Engineering Team for full size grading, and acting as the main interface to Product Engineering to ensure timely handover of seasonal articles.

You will serve as the link between product category developers and the sample room within the Product Development team, and summarize key technical specifications early in the process in close alignment with our production sites in Germany and Portugal.

Minimum requirements include completed training as a shoemaker, orthopedic shoemaker, or footwear manufacturer, ideally with further qualification as a footwear technician. Experience in a comparable role with practical knowledge of shoe construction in CAD (Rhino, MIND) is essential.

Good command of English, both written and spoken, is required. The ideal candidate is a creative, motivated, and solution-oriented team player with an independent, structured working style and strong planning skills.
