Join Groenewout, a member of EPG, as a Logistics Automation Consultant (m/f/d). In this role, you will guide customers through the design and implementation of logistics automation projects, from initial tender to go-live. With a background in mechanical engineering and a passion for logistics, you will manage the functional design and execution of systems such as AS/RS, AutoStore, conveyor systems, and packaging lines, ensuring smooth transition from concept to operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of logistics automation projects with various suppliers as an implementation specialist.
• Translate conceptual designs and feasibility studies into detailed engineering plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers, IT teams, and operational staff to ensure system specifications and integration are aligned.
• Develop and document test plans and acceptance criteria for automated solutions.
• Oversee system testing, including Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), technical availability tests, stress tests, and operational ramp-up.
• Provide hands-on support during implementation, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
• Ensure system compliance with safety regulations.
• Design logistics warehouse layouts as part of feasibility studies, translating requirements into effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with implementing automated logistics solutions such as shuttles, AutoStore, conveyors, and packaging lines.
