Responsibilities

• Design, architecture, administration, and deployment of customized event streaming platforms based on Apache Kafka, using industry standards and latest tools.
• Coordinate with clients for planning, migration, monitoring, and implementation of scalable Kafka platforms and provide comprehensive consulting on these technologies.
• Lead the design and implementation of architectures for streaming platforms and use cases using open source and cloud tools.

Qualifications

• Technical education or equivalent training.
• Experience and knowledge in Java.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or similar large-scale distributed data systems like Spark, CockroachDB, HDFS, Hive, etc.
• Background in software development and automation for big data systems.
• Experience with developing solutions for Big Data and Data Analytics applications.
• Proficiency in system deployment and container technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes.
• Experience in developing resilient, scalable distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of stream processing frameworks like Kafka Streams, Spark Streaming, Flink, Storm.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, etc.
• Understanding of SDLC processes, Cloud Operations, and Service Delivery (ITIL).
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms like OAuth, Vert.x, Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL Azure and AWS development.
• Experience with cloud migration, cloud-native solutions, and related tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Splunk.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively in business language.
• Interest in agile organizational structures (SCRUM).
• Customer-oriented mindset, comfortable working in an international environment with German and English languages.
