Drawing on your professional experience, you will specialize in understanding the business usage of information technology and enabling technology to contribute to the business. You will focus on developing enterprise application standards, strategies, and plans, eliciting requirements, and delivering solutions in collaboration with partners. You will provide technical guidance, lead implementation, and support the adoption of application systems, following CSL governance standards. Additionally, you will contribute to defining and maintaining a reliable, cost-effective technology environment and identify improvements. The role involves working independently on complex projects and potentially coordinating others, with responsibilities that may include development using approved programming languages.

The Role

1. Analyze and Define Requirements: Responsible for analyzing and visualizing complex business processes, eliciting and evaluating requirements with stakeholders, and translating them into functional specifications. Lead teams to deliver evaluations and solutions, mentoring others as needed.
2. Draft and Design: Identify and architect solutions, prepare design documentation, and collaborate with infrastructure specialists. Oversee configuration and development, mentoring peers and performing peer reviews.
3. Test and Validation: Develop validation plans, manage testing, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test relevance and contribute to standard testing approaches.
4. Training: Prepare training materials, conduct user training, and support the adoption of solutions following enterprise standards.
5. Operations and Support: Maintain applications, provide incident support, manage changes, and ensure system availability. Support complex problem resolution and may provide off-hours support.
6. Project Work: Lead or define projects, manage scope and plans, and oversee technical solution implementation, including data migration and quality assurance.
7. Teamwork and Leadership: Lead by example, develop relationships, contribute to team strategy, and participate in budget and resource planning. Research new solutions and drive process improvements.
8. Maintain Regulatory Compliance: Follow global IT procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines, including cGMP standards.
9. Strategic Contributions: Support enterprise-wide strategies, contribute to policy development, manage vendor relationships, and ensure conformance to architecture standards. Participate in forums and initiatives to align IT strategies with business needs.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of IT experience aligned with the role’s responsibilities.
• Experience in pharma/biotech or regulated environments preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and knowledge of SDLC.
• Ability to train others and possess business process knowledge across departments.
• Functional and technical skills as a Business Systems Analyst & Solution Architect.
