This position is not tied to a specific workplace; maintenance work is done directly at clients' facilities, while other tasks are completed in a home-office setting. Candidates residing anywhere in Germany and EU-residents willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.

Daily Responsibilities

• On a customer project worldwide: perform startup procedures on turbines and auxiliaries, troubleshoot, set control parameters, and communicate with other engineers.
• Ensure the successful commissioning of turbines from individual components to full systems, including functional testing and interlocks verification.
• Document equipment conditions, prepare reports, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare and execute operational readiness tests.
• Provide services for power plant components globally, including turbines, electrolysers, and battery storage systems.
• Troubleshoot customer issues, analyze problems, and propose solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Several years of relevant experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with technical documentation.
• Knowledge of power plant technology and experience with power plant operations, maintenance, or Siemens gas and steam turbines is advantageous.
• Proficiency in German and English for daily communication.
• Analytical skills, proactive attitude, teamwork, resilience, and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Willingness to travel internationally on short notice and work flexible hours.
