Join our team as (Global) Category Manager Production Machinery (f/m/d).

Responsibilities:

• Global and local Category Management in technical areas (Capex, MRO, etc.). Experience in other areas is a plus but not required.
• Procurement of (turnkey) production equipment and maintenance services, including MRO.
• Manage procurement processes and project tasks in project procurement, including supplier pre-selection, cost analysis, and contract negotiations, in a global context.
• Develop and implement global category and supplier strategies.
• Conduct market analysis, select suppliers, and manage risks.
• Identify synergies and measures to achieve savings and cost avoidance targets.
• Negotiate and establish frame agreements with domestic and global suppliers.
• Manage supplier onboarding and phase-out processes.
• Provide regular internal reporting on projects, cost savings, and cost avoidance.

Qualifications:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, technical technician, or extensive experience in technical purchasing/materials management of machinery and services, or a comparable qualification.
