Job Description:

Overview

Physician (Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent) Bavaria, Germany

Vilseck is one of the most charming military installations in Germany. This is a quiet, but friendly community of people helping people. Vilseck is located in Bavaria (Bayern) in the Oberpfalz region. It is a small rural community with a population of about 8,000. Vilseck derived its name from the fortress (Burg) Dagestein on the Vils river, one of the oldest in Oberpfalz. Today, Vilseck has train and bus connections to nearby cities. There are various restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, butcher shops, hardware stores, flower shops, an office supply store, souvenir shops, shoe stores, beauty/barber shops, and cosmetologists. The town also has a post office, banks, and night clubs.

Vilseck is a major training center, known as the "school house" for the US Army in Europe. It is about 30 miles west of the Czech border and 50 miles northeast of Nuernberg.
