At Reethaus, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to support our Event Operations Manager and kitchen team in ensuring smooth and efficient food service operations. This position is available on a part-time or occasional basis.

The Reethaus is a semi-subterranean performance space that recently opened as part of the Flussbad campus which will encompass exhibition spaces, gastronomy, creative studios, and holistic health offerings. Inspired by ancient temples, the Reethaus is designed with a 360-degree spatial sound system that creates ideal conditions for experiential installations, mind-body practice, holistic learning, and artistic performance drawn from Berlin’s rich cultural scene.

We value efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail. As a Dishwasher, you play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food service areas to help create a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations, kitchen areas, food prep spaces, and machines.
• Handle and dispose of waste and recyclables properly.
• Ensure dishware and kitchen tools are stored correctly and readily available for use.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep or other tasks as needed.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to the Event Operations Manager.
• Follow all hygiene and cleaning procedure to maintain a safe working environment.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dishwashing, kitchen, or food service role is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work efficiently and remain organized under pressure.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours based on event schedules.
