About Perosphere Technologies

Perosphere Technologies is changing the way decisions are made for patients at risk for bleeding. A private medical technologies company, Perosphere is focused on development and commercialization of the novel PoC (point-of-care) Coagulometer, which informs diagnosis, treatment, and prevention through precision data, made immediately accessible to all. It is the only point-of-care (POC) diagnostic tool that effectively and swiftly tests clotting times across drug classes, including Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs). The fast diagnosis and related appropriate treatment decisions the PoC Coagulometer enables will help establish a new standard of care in hospital emergency departments for patients at risk for bleeding and has the potential to improve efficiency, provide significant cost savings, and better patient outcomes.

Perosphere Technologies is funded by Advantage Capital Partners, Ambit Health Ventures, Connecticut Innovations, Ogden, and others, and has been awarded multiple federal grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

We are open to hiring candidates based in Germany or Europe for this position, which requires extensive travel throughout the European Union (~80% travel). This is NOT a US-based role.

Position: Director of Sales, Europe (ESD)

The ESD will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration for the launch of Perosphere ClotChek in Europe. This role requires extensive travel (~80%) and involves leading a sales team, working independently, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

  1. Develop and implement a sales strategy to penetrate the European market, starting with Germany & Ireland.
  2. Lead and develop a sales and support team, including managing distributor networks and training on the Perosphere ClotChek technology.
  3. Build sales processes and utilize Salesforce CRM for account management, pipeline, and reporting.
  4. Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and report insights to leadership.
  5. Coordinate with marketing and operations teams and attend industry events to promote the product.
  6. Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes affecting diagnostics.
  7. Identify and recruit additional distributor partnerships to expand market reach.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven success in sales leadership within medical devices or diagnostics.
  • Experience managing distributor networks and indirect sales channels.
  • Strong understanding of the European healthcare market and regulations.
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans, set targets, and analyze performance.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, especially Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business preferred.
  • Clinical knowledge of hematology & coagulation is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
  • Legally authorized to work in the European Union.
Work Conditions

This is a field role requiring up to 80% travel. Employees may be exposed to environments near patient care and must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
