We are seeking a Web-to-Print Specialist Prepress.

Ideal candidates will be experienced print experts in modern publishing projects, ready to shape innovative print processes, and tech-savvy prepress professionals for automated workflows.

Tasks

• Implement Web-to-Print solutions based on the priint:comet Suite.
• Create and customize InDesign templates connected to our PIM system.
• Utilize and maintain scripts to automate layout processes.
• Configure technical aspects in coordination with our proprietary PIM system.
• Support client projects alongside an experienced project manager.
• Participate in internal and external training sessions (e.g., Print Days, PIM Days).

Requirements

• Several years of experience in prepress or media production.
• Strong knowledge of typesetting systems and automated print workflows.
• Understanding of product data (PIM) and its application in layout processes.
• Excellent skills in Adobe InDesign and structured media output.
• Independent, organized working style and willingness to learn new tools.
• Thorough onboarding: 2–3 half-day introductions plus hands-on mentoring.
• Access to an internal priint:comet test instance and prebuilt scripts.
• Collaboration with experienced consultants and direct contact with the vendor (Werk II).
• Friendly team combining tech expertise with print know-how.
• Part-time friendly, suitable for seasoned print industry professionals.
• Available as freelance or permanent position.
• Home Office supported through our Work from Anywhere framework (Germany or Switzerland).
• Utilizes digital platforms like Google Workspace, Odoo, and HubSpot, enhanced with AI support.
