Our Engineering Services team seeks a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with recent experience in Software Development and cross-functional project management, especially in product release management. You will demonstrate your technical skills by working with hardware, reproducing issues, collecting logs, debugging, and testing. You will also showcase your project management skills by planning software releases, responding to customer requests, gathering requirements, and managing project schedules and content.

You will:

1. Work with global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
2. Plan and optimize resource use, monitor budgets.
3. Gather and analyze project data including budgets, schedules, and technical details.
4. Create detailed project schedules.
5. Mitigate risks to ensure project success.
6. Assign work packages and ensure team commitment.
7. Assist in writing contracts for external contractors (asset).
8. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
9. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for technical and progress updates.

You will have the following skills & experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in technical program/project management or as a Software Developer with extensive C, C++, Java experience and customer interaction.
3. Technical supervisory experience.
4. Knowledge of UNIX-based OS.
5. Strong planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
6. Familiarity with technical procedures, specifications, and contractual processes.
7. Leadership, innovation, analysis, and communication skills.
8. Experience in Agile software deployment and project management.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred but not essential:

1. Experience managing embedded and RTOS market projects.
2. Direct experience with QNX.
3. Knowledge of standards like ISO 9001, CMMI, IEC 61508, IEC 62304, SPICE, Common Criteria, ISO 26262.
