As a FPA & Controlling Manager, you will gain a comprehensive overview of all key financial processes at Westwing and have the opportunity to further develop them. You will work closely with the Finance Executive Team, engaging in strategic and operational topics and playing a key role in decisions at both the Group and entity levels. This position is permanent and based in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create, prepare, and evaluate key figures for monthly reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Design, implement, and improve reporting, forecasting, and planning activities.
- Analyze financial results to derive business recommendations; conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep dives as needed.
- Collaborate across teams, functions, and countries; act as the interface with relevant stakeholders on financial controlling topics.
- Question existing processes and continuously develop new strategic controlling areas.
YOU COME WITH
- A university degree in economics, business administration, or a related field; ideally with a focus on Finance or Controlling and outstanding academic credentials.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in finance, cost controlling, or accounting, preferably in a tech startup environment.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with PowerBI, SQL, and Tableau is a plus.
- Solid understanding of ERP and reporting systems, ideally Business Central and LucaNet.
- Strong analytical skills with a hands-on approach, focused on fast and accurate execution.
- A structured, independent, and goal-oriented work style.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for making an impact in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English.
