Qualifikationen

Responsibilities

Our Ludwigshafen unit develops enzymes and enzyme solutions for the detergents and cleaning product industry.

• Manage a development laboratory and lead laboratory technicians, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Lead complex enzyme development and formulation projects.
• Defend patents and initiate new projects for patent protection of innovations.
• Work out technical and legal requirements for new product developments and launches, considering economic feasibility.
• Develop and adapt enzyme test methods; oversee evaluations of enzyme research and product samples.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to generate intelligence for new product innovations aligned with enzyme strategy.
• Lead global projects at the intersection of marketing and research, collaborating closely with strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree, ideally with a doctorate in chemistry, biology, or biotechnology, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of patents and project management.
• First leadership experience.
• Solution-oriented work style and motivation to contribute to the team.
• Strong communication skills with external and internal partners; ability to present ideas effectively.
• Fluent in English; good German skills are a plus.
