Position

Senior Designer (m / f / d) in CMF (color, material, finish) design

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with color & trim designers from various OEMs
2. Understand customer requirements and translate them into new leather products
3. Develop holistic leather design concepts regarding color and enrichments (perforation, embossing, embroidery, quilting, printing, etc.)
4. Translate concept ideas for enrichments into production-ready design drawings
5. Conduct trend research and develop global design and trend presentations

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in CMF design, industrial design, graphic design, textile design, or related field
2. At least 8-10 years of professional design experience, preferably in mobility design
3. Strong research and design skills in materials and color integration, with the ability to identify color nuances and differences
4. Creative ability to develop and promote unique designs, with good knowledge of consumer trends and material and color preferences
5. Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, along with excellent presentation skills
6. Experience working in international environments and cultural sensitivity
7. Well-organized, self-managed, and motivated with a passion for design
8. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work approach
9. Fluent in written and spoken German and English
