JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner (div/f/m) who understands our clients' requirements and translates them into product backlogs.

As a Senior Product Owner (div/f/m), you will oversee the implementation of complex B2C and B2B projects, including client consulting, planning and facilitating scoping workshops, setting up and grooming product backlogs, creating and prioritizing epics & user stories, developing product roadmaps, and leading projects to launch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult clients on project scope, features, priorities, and (business) impact;
  • Plan and execute project discovery phases with our craft experts;
  • Work closely with the delivery team to plan and execute project iterations, including ceremonies and meetings;
  • Own project scope, communicate progress and issues effectively internally and with stakeholders/clients, and collaborate with project management;
  • Guide projects to success using your expertise in creation, strategy, quality, tech, and stakeholder involvement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of experience as a PO, especially in e-commerce (B2C/B2B) or similar IT projects;
  • 5+ years of experience with agile methodologies and leading interdisciplinary teams;
  • A high sense of responsibility & ownership, with the willingness to steer, control, and make decisions to ensure project success;
  • Extensive knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Confluence);
  • Deep skills in requirements engineering and scope management;
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and coordination skills;
  • Empathetic, recipient-oriented communication, and confident stakeholder engagement;
  • Solid consulting skills to guide clients toward their goals;
  • Experience in planning and conducting workshops in various formats;
  • Ideally, a certified Product Owner (CSPO / ACSPO), with primary focus on long-term project experience;
  • Preferably experience in agency or service provider environments;
  • Ability to work with and lead international teams;
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
