Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Kornit Digital, a leading company in developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art printing solutions for the textile, garment, and apparel decorating industries, is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the DACH & Benelux region.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out installations and verify the functionality of new Kornit systems, including unpacking, configuring components, and positioning according to factory standards and documentation.
2. Deliver training to print operators and maintenance staff on machine operation, routine maintenance, and basic application knowledge.
3. Perform general maintenance, configuration, and adjustments as per maintenance manuals.
4. Conduct scheduled maintenance, replace or repair worn or defective parts, and perform fault analysis, diagnosis, and repairs on-site or remotely.
5. Manage defective, used, and unused parts according to Kornit policies.
6. Apply product upgrades and modifications as implemented.
7. Provide first-level support to customers via phone and remote tools, including troubleshooting and adjusting system settings.
8. Participate in support hotline coverage, including extended service hours.
9. Document all activities using the approved systems, such as Salesforce.com service modules.
10. Coordinate with Service and Hotline Support Engineers regarding ongoing cases.
11. Escalate complex cases to the Technical or Service Manager with proper documentation.
12. Promote Kornit's service offerings, including service contracts and maintenance programs.
13. Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology.
• At least 5 years of experience in field engineering, servicing complex electro-mechanical devices.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 70%, including overseas.
• Knowledge of digital printing industry, such as inkjet technology, RIP/color management, and textile printing (preferred).
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Windows.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Strong communication and customer management skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driving license for Europe.
