Job Details

• Start date: May, with a fixed-term contract for at least 6 weeks or longer, in full-time (40 hours per week) at the Frankfurt am Main location.
• Responsibilities include working on a current RTL regional broadcast ("RTL Hessen") and gaining experience in an external studio supplying national RTL formats such as Punkt 12 or RTL Aktuell.
• You will actively support the editorial daily business, including research, editing your own news reports, and conducting independent shoots with digital video cameras.

Your Profile

• You are enrolled as a student (w/m/d) with initial journalistic experience through internships in areas such as newspapers, radio, or TV stations with daily reporting.
• You have knowledge of state politics and current events in Hesse, and an interest in RTL television programming.
• You possess good IT skills (Word, Outlook) and online affinity.
• You enjoy working in a team and are highly motivated and committed.
• You hold a Class B driver's license.
• You speak fluent German and very good English.

RTL Hessen GmbH produces the daily regional program "RTL Hessen" and supplies content to all news and magazine broadcasts of RTL, ntv, Vox, and other RTL Germany channels as an external studio. As a 100% subsidiary of RTL Germany, we have nearly 50 colleagues at our main office in Frankfurt and about 10 in our external studio in Kassel. You don't need to like Handkäs or Ahle Worscht to be warmly welcomed into our team.
