Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Architect Backend (Azure Cloud + NestJs development).

Start: 29.07.2024 End: 28.01.2025 Volume: Fulltime Location: Remote

The project aims at delivering a solution to connect the PC in the lab used to perform R&D test on prototypes and insert test data automatically into the SaaS external platform named Albert (Lab & Inventory Management Systems). The project has the purpose to develop the first MVP version of the CLP platform and deploy the solution (Platform + IDMZ server) for two labs (Dusseldorf Lab and Rocky Hill Lab).

The solution will consist of the following main component:

1. A server deployed in an IDMZ able to:
2. Retrieve and copy the raw test data into the Cloud (AzCopy)
3. Allow the users to connect to the CLP from non client PC. Note: Those servers will be deployed by labs

2. A web application and hosted on the Cloud, capable to process the test data and insert data into the Albert Platform (Fill data template, transform files and attach files)

The server in the IDMZ:

• OS: Windows Server 2022
• Local to Cloud Copy: AzCopy

The platform technology stack is the following:

• Frontend development: Angular
• Backend development: NestJs
• Database technology: PostgreSQL
• Datalake: Azure Datalake / Storage account
• Development Life Cycle Platform: Azure DevOps
• Cloud Infrastructure: Azure Cloud. The Service used are the followings: Azure Function, App Service Plan, Static website, App Gateway, Private endpoint, Keyvault, virtual machine scaleset, container registry, app insights, Private Endpoint, Log Analytics, Datalake & PostgreSQL

The CLP platform shall meet the internal development rules which include:

• Micro Services oriented architecture
• Naming Convention
• Testing Strategy

Tasks (independent delivery):

Agile Project with 2-week sprints plus daily jour fixe. The external contractor takes over respectively the role as Senior architect backend developer.

• Define the architecture of the web application (Backend & Frontend). Define all necessary diagrams (Class diagram, Sequence diagram, State diagram and entity-relationship diagram)
• Provide professional consulting to the scrum master by defining necessary technical tickets in line with the business prioritization
• Develop features and implement unit test for any development tasks (NestJS)
• Implement the monitoring dashboard of the CLP platform
• Manage the devops activities (Update Azure devops pipelines (Yaml files) or update terraform scripts
• Complete documentation regarding Architecture, Backend, Frontend and DevOps. The documentation shall include the justification of the technical choices taken
• Perform the technical handover sessions to internal or external technical teams if necessary
• Take part of technical meetings where security and network aspects are discussed. The technical expertise and experience of the contractor shall allow internal team to make progress in the development and deployment of the connected lab project
