About Us
We are a successful company in the automotive aftermarket sector and are looking for a committed and technically skilled employee to join our team in the IT area. In this role, you will assume a central function in the administration and further development of our IT infrastructure. In addition, you will interface in particular with the areas of process optimization, logistics and external IT service providers.
Your Tasks
- Terminal device management
- Provision, setup and maintenance of hardware such as PCs, laptops, scanners (MDE), smartphones and printers.
- Installing and updating operating systems and applications.
- Managing user accounts (e.g. in Active Directory) and access rights.
- Support with the introduction of new devices and technologies.
- User support (IT support).
- Support for employees with IT problems (hardware, software, network).
- Analysis and rectification of faults.
- Introduction and training of employees for new software solutions or IT systems.
- IT infrastructure management.
- Setup, maintenance and optimization of the company's own network (LAN, WLAN, VPN).
- Monitoring of network security, firewalls and routers.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of servers (e.g. file, mail, application servers).
- Ensuring backups and recovery plans.
- IT security.
- Implementation and monitoring of security measures such as virus protection, firewalls and access management.
- Training employees on IT security guidelines and how to deal with cyber threats (e.g. phishing).
- Implementation of regular security updates.
- Software management.
- Maintenance of business software (e.g. ERP, CRM, EDI interfaces, document management systems).
- Collaboration with external service providers in the adaptation or further development of software.
- Project management.
- Introduction and integration of new systems, e.g. for digitization projects or IT innovations.
- Planning and implementation of IT relocations, expansions or upgrades.
- Data management and analysis.
- Management of databases and creation of evaluations (e.g. SQL queries).
- Ensuring backups and data recovery if required.
- Cooperation with external partners.
- Coordination with IT service providers, hardware suppliers and software providers.
- Collaboration in solving complex problems or implementing new IT projects.
Your Profile
- Training in information technology, computer science or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in the administration of networks, servers and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of IT security, software administration and data management.
- Analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking as well as a structured way of working.
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and service orientation.
- Several years of experience is an advantage, but not mandatory - a completed apprenticeship is recognized as sufficient experience.
