We are seeking a dedicated IT-Consultant specializing in Software Test Automation to join our team in Walldorf. This role involves working across various locations including Aachen, Augsburg, Berlin, Bonn, Bremen, Dortmund, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Essen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Jena, Karlsruhe, Kiel, Koblenz, Köln, Leipzig, München, Münster, Neumünster, Nürnberg, Paderborn, Potsdam, Rostock, Saarbrücken, Siegen, Stralsund, Stuttgart, Ulm, and Walldorf.

As a Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring transparency regarding the quality of critical business software in digitalization projects. You will act as the interface between end-users in business departments and the development team. You will enjoy onboarding new team members and contribute to continuous improvements in the testing process.

Your specific responsibilities include:

1. Building and maintaining test automation architectures
2. Implementing automation solutions and integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline, as well as generating test data for manual and automated testing
3. Executing automated test cases, evaluating test results, documenting deviations, and collaborating closely with the development team to resolve issues
4. Implementing test scenarios for load testing
5. Advising stakeholders on software quality and testing measures
6. Providing estimates and status reports to support planning and management of testing tasks
7. Holding a university degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
8. Gaining initial practical experience in test automation or load testing in IT projects, including internships during studies
9. Having practical knowledge of at least one automation tool or framework (e.g., Selenium, REST Assured, Robot Framework, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Micro Focus UFT One, Tricentis Tosca)
10. Possessing practical knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN, TFS) and interface standards (e.g., REST, SOAP)
11. Fluency in German (C1 level or higher) and good English skills (B2 level or higher)
