Job Description

Our client is a leading innovator in SaaS business analytics of complex data recognized by Gartner. Customers include local startups as well as global multinationals.

They are looking for several Account Executives based in Germany with a proven track record of success in the DACH market. The ideal candidates are energetic, upbeat, and versatile, focused and well-organized individuals with impeccable integrity.

You will join the sales team focused on outbound activities, selling to SMBs as well as enterprises both in the field and over the phone. You must be comfortable with reaching out and qualifying prospects, actively mapping and developing existing accounts, setting events, and establishing strategic partnerships. You should have experience with growing pipelines, managing sales processes, and closing deals effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of proven experience in direct sales and OEM, in both Field and Inside sales
  • Hunter and closer by nature with a proven success record quarter after quarter
  • Experience in selling B2B software products in DACH – a must
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics SaaS experience – a significant advantage
  • Experience managing the sales process from start to finish with Senior / C-level customers
  • Revenue-driven, positive, energetic, ambitious, and upbeat attitude
  • Self-motivated with a genuine commitment to sales excellence
  • Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and engagingly
  • Willingness to travel within the region

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet sales quotas within prospect accounts
  • Plan outbound activities to generate new business, such as events, roundtables, and conventions
  • Map and develop existing customers and identified prospects
  • Drive new business opportunities through Direct Sales, Indirect, and OEM channels in the region
  • Qualify leads and convert them into sales
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close deals and meet quarterly sales targets
  • Promote the value of business analytics solutions to potential clients
  • Conduct product demonstrations via web-based conferencing tools
