Job Description

Due to unprecedented expansion, a Senior Process Engineer is required to join the team working on world-class automotive ICs. The role involves leading the development, improvement, and release of manufacturing equipment, tools (hardware and software), and processes, both in-house and with subcontractors.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Gathering information from internal and external customers for developments and improvements.
2. Performing feasibility and concept design, including subcontractor selection and risk assessment (PFMEA), to evaluate solutions.
3. Planning and conducting engineering tests using advanced statistical and scientific methods to ensure process performance.
4. Leading prototyping, characterization, and verification of process or equipment parameters to meet specifications.
5. Ensuring smooth transfer of products from conception to production, including initial training for manufacturing self-sufficiency.
6. Providing procedures and instructions for work, calibration, and maintenance.
7. Supporting manufacturing beyond process release to meet KPIs.
8. Coaching Process Engineers or specialists to enhance their technical skills.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification, with proven experience in a similar manufacturing role, preferably in automotive. Extensive knowledge in process management, project management, and process control is required. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
