Amazon is looking for a Robotics Deployment Engineer (DE) for the European region. Your role as DE includes supporting the technical execution of Robotics deployment projects. You will travel to construction sites, interact with on-site teams and remote stakeholders, analyze and resolve technical issues, and oversee deployment milestones. Additionally, you will provide training and presentations on technical details to other teams and collaborate closely with product development and support teams.

Traveling requirement for this role is up to 75%.

Key job responsibilities

• Have a solid understanding of IT and data network concepts (e.g., Linux OS, Internet, Ethernet, Wireless protocols).
• Experience in scripting to automate tasks in Linux or Windows PowerShell, troubleshooting, and repairing system issues.
• Be a self-starter eager to acquire new knowledge through self-study and exploration.
• Enjoy hands-on activities.

A day in the life

Your day might start with a trip to the airport to travel to a construction site. Upon arrival, you'll undergo a safety induction and meet the on-site team. You'll review ongoing activities related to the project plan and milestones, address technical issues, and participate in meetings with local and remote stakeholders. The day concludes with a team dinner.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Robotics, or related field.
• Relevant experience in robotics technology deployment.
• Business-level written and spoken English skills.
• Passionate about hands-on troubleshooting of hardware, software, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of data network concepts and protocols.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation.
• Ability to resolve software, hardware, and network issues with concrete examples.
• Comfortable working in construction site environments.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant fields.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Linux Administrator, or Linux Engineer.
• Experience deploying robotics technologies.
• Additional language skills beyond English.
• Leadership experience with international teams.
