Job Description:

This role involves implementing and maintaining Nordex's management system, focusing on health, safety, and environmental measures during construction and assembly. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting inspections, managing documentation, and participating in improvement projects within the organization.

Tasks include:

• Coordinating and controlling HSE systems during hybrid tower assembly
• Managing HSE documentation from subcontractors
• Implementing Nordex management system at the project site
• Ensuring legal requirements are met
• Conducting site inspections to ensure safety
• Ensuring processes follow HSE guidelines
• Collaborating on anomaly detection related to occupational health and safety
• Managing work permits and HSE plans
• Planning resources and controlling risk prevention documentation
• Coordinating assembly processes to ensure preventive actions
• Promoting HSE best practices
• Investigating work accidents and reporting
• Supervising environmental management and compliance
• Facilitating communication between client, project management, and subcontractors regarding HSE
• Ensuring environmental requirements are met by Nordex and subcontractors
• Contracting suppliers such as PPE providers, waste management, and HSE signage companies

Candidate profile:

• Certified Occupational Health and Safety Specialist
• Experience in precast concrete manufacturing, construction control, supervision, and quality processes
• Proficiency in HSE-specific software
• Knowledge of construction techniques and materials
• Understanding of HSE laws and standards like ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites
