We’re looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join a leading international consultancy delivering complex S / 4HANA transformation programs for enterprise clients across the German market .

This is a brand-new role , giving you the opportunity to establish the bid management function from scratch within a high-performing SAP team. Until now, responsibilities have been split between Solution Architects and Program Managers—but with increasing demand for structured, high-quality bids, it’s time for a dedicated expert to take the lead.

You’ll work alongside senior SAP experts and program leads to develop compelling, tailored proposals for major German enterprise clients— with full support to grow your own team in the future .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead end-to-end bid processes for large-scale SAP / S / 4HANA deals in the DACH region
• Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, legal, and delivery stakeholders
• Develop and tailor bid content in native-level German , ensuring alignment with client expectations
• Introduce and implement structured bid management processes, tools, and templates
• Shape the strategic direction and value proposition of each proposal
• Ensure compliance with tender requirements and manage all deadlines and submission logistics
• Act as the single point of contact for all bid-related activities within the organization
• Build and lead a bid management team as the function scales

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in bid or proposal management in the IT or consulting sector
• Proven success managing complex RFPs, ideally in SAP or enterprise IT transformation
• Fluent German (C2 / native) and strong English skills are essential
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to translate technical input into persuasive content
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Confident, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with SAP or S / 4HANA projects is highly desirable
