Responsibilities

• Support our developers by keeping our development tool chain up to date.
• Maintain the build process in our team of multi-platform specialists.
• Find optimization potential in our process and help reduce build times and keep our developers up to speed.
• Ensure that our software is stable and runs efficiently on many different systems (more than 2.5 billion installations).
• Monitor the latest technical developments in your area and make suggestions for improvements.

Requirements

• A university or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development focusing on Linux.
• Experience with building tools like CMake, Ninja, GCC, Clang, Autotools.
• Programming skills in C, C++, with knowledge of Python and Groovy as a plus.
• Knowledge of dependency managers like Conan.
• Experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket, and GitLab.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• An independent and structured work style.
• Good knowledge of English and German (at least B2 level).
