We are hiring Sales Manager (f/m/d) in Hannover/Bremen with extensive freight forwarding experience. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a Book Of Business within the branch's geographical reach by implementing the company's commercial strategies and products to accelerate growth.

How you will contribute:

  1. Manage Book Of Business ensuring consistent growth in volume, revenue, and margin.
  2. Liaise with branch operations to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs.
  3. Assist clients with their daily requests related to export/import quotations and negotiations to ensure proper opportunity closing.
  4. Coordinate with DP World’s internal network and external partners to guarantee optimal service assistance.
  5. Maintain daily work on our CRM system to manage your pipeline and record activities for the Field Sales Incentive Scheme.

Your key qualifications:

  • Degree in logistics, supply chain, or a similar discipline.
  • Proven working knowledge of the freight forwarding industry.
  • Ability to research, identify, grow, and close business opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate computer skills, proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, carriers, other forwarders, and vendors.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
